Wirawati of Kem Temasya Rimba Templer

Trust me, this is going to be a supremely long entry. So I've decided to split it into parts :)

So, it has been like 10 days since I left the camp and yeah, I miss it alottt. I wish I can go back there; enjoying every moments there rather than spending my times at home by doing nothing. =.=''

I should have say this from the beginning - PLKN is the best thing that I could ever have in my entire life. I should feel proud that I am chosen to be the one :)

(By the way, for those who still didn't get my point (for God's sake, ada ke? =.=), PLKN stands for Program Latihan Khidmat Negara (en-National Service Camp)

I still remember, it was New Year and it was supposed to be an enjoyable start but not for this year; when I have to get myself on bus for PLKN. It feels pretty awkward and quite irritating when I thought I have to spend my next 2 months in camp; living an absurd, army-like life.

Well, that was my very first thought before I do actually learn how cool PLKN really is! Wondering why I'm feeling that wayy? ;)

I learnt lots of new things here; experiencing lots of fun activities that some people wouldn't have the chance to do so out there. I also made lots of friends and learnt more about Malaysia. (Believe me, I'm being much patriotic now :D)

So, I went to Kem PLKN Temasya Rimba Templer, Rawang, Selangor; which allocated like 20 minutes from my home (haha!) and as mentioned in the previous post, Syarifuddin was also here; along with other fellow schoolmates - Hadi, Amin and Syahmi. All the trainees here come from different background and races - they came from Klang Valley, Pahang and even from East Malaysia. We are truly being ONE MALAYSIA! It is truly an amazing experience to learn their unique cultures - but what I like the most is to learn their accent :D

We were divided into four groups here - Alpha, Bravo, Charlie and Delta. Well, I belong to Charlie; which I always wondered how they got that name. (Frankly speaking, it sounds weird =.='') Here, we were titled 'wira-wirawati' to replace the term "boys and girls". It sounds cool for me because it makes me feel as if I am the true WIRAWATI, (en-hero) haha! :P We also have our own index number - as in the military (or it could look just like the convicts). We used the index number at most of the time to refer to any trainees; instead of remembering their names. Mine is 610 :)

Our Routines

Let's talk about life here in camp. Our routine begins at 5.00 a.m. daily for morning shower; walk to surau for Subuh prayer at 5.30 a.m. ; racing for morning PT right after Subuh prayer (and we have to get ourselves at Padang Kawad SHARP at 6.30 a.m. for morning assembly); proceed with PT and have breakfast at 7.30 a.m.; rushing to Padang Kawad at 8.20 a.m for another roll-call before get into the multiskills classes until mid day. Sounds too tiring? Wait, there's more!

Then, in the evening, we usually have the Physical module activities - which normally exciting. At night, we don't really have much activities; except for Wednesday and Thursday where we were supposed to have Kelas Kerohanian. We end our activities usually at 11.00 p.m.

Okayy, I think I better stop here for now, huhh. Gonna continue it again next time :)
