Heart Speaks: Wataniah Appreciation and Reunion Night 2013

First and foremost I'm really sorry that has been really a while since then, I'm currently going through quite a hectic life here and that final exam is coming sooner so yeah I'm somehow struggling on it. Wish me luck guys :D

However I'm gonna spend few minutes on this post anyway hewhew. Basically, we all know (ah you wish LOL) that I've been keen on joining the military so bad, so when the IIUM Wataniah opened their registration for new intake I immediately filled up the form (see my enthusiasm LOL).

This was the first intake that involving CFS students anyway, and there were 7 of us joined the squad, consisting of 3 sisters and 4 brothers. It's quite an honor to be among the first batch anyway :D

Okay enough with the ranting. Lets get back on the main topic lewls. So on the 29th April 2013 (which falls on the last Monday) the Nadi Watan Club organized a Wataniah Appreciation and Reunion Night (APREUN) and the new intakes were invited as well to give us the opportunity to get along with Wataniah seniors. It was held at the Banquet Hall, Cultural Activity Center IIUM.

Trust me the event was really amusingly amazing haha. Double thumbs up to the committee who put up so much efforts for it and indeed the event was really a success though.

Lets just say, the attempt of imitating Dena Bahrin's shawl style FAILED.

(and I look like Star Wars' Yoda instead. EPIC FAILURE)

Plus, I love the theme idea anyway - the 'Masquerade Night'. Believe me it was the theme that sparks the entire event (and the foods as well hehe) Besides, it was the only chance for us to see these military people all dressed up rather than the usual 'PT Taaruf'' attire.

Close enough. LOL.

Speaking about the scrumptious foods they were satisfying enough (the RM10 that we paid is really worth it, in fact, even more)

Overall, it was a great moment anyway, especially getting along with fellow squad members eventually tighten up our bonds. Looking forward for the recruitment this upcoming June. (Gonna spend the whole 2 weeks in the jungle, military style woohoo!) Wish us the best of luck :)
